How Can I Help a Doctor Make a Diagnosis of Mobility Problems?

You can take the following steps that may be helpful to a doctor in determining a diagnosis and treatment plan for your loved one experiencing mobility problems.

  • Bring a written list of symptoms to the doctor.
  • Bring a list of medications currently being used for balance disorders to the doctor.
  • Be specific when describing the nature of the symptoms to the doctor.

For example, describe how, when, and where your loved one experiences dizziness.
Lastly, remember to write down any instructions or tips your doctor gives you.
